The 17th World Puzzle Championship (WPC) took place October 27 - November 1st 2008 in Minsk, Belarus. The organizer was Vladimir Portugalov who did a great job, especially considering the fact that he had hardly four months to do it all.

Individual champion for the 6th time was Ulrich Voigt from Germany. The best team was the team of the united States. See also the individual and team results on this website and the tournament's website.
