Unfair Team Result for UN3 Team

The UN3 team consists of two Chinese players (Chen Cen and Ma Menglei) and Belarus player Vladmir Portugalov. They have scored at the rank 9 but the final result does not recognise their efforts. The 9th place is given to France.

Rank Country Score
1 Germany 7904
2 Czech Republic 7720
3 Japan 7156
4 Canada 7016
5 Poland 6917
6 United Kingdom 6760
7 USA 6632
8 Netherlands 6445
9 France 6239
10 Hungary 5881

I think this is not fair and in the future, no one takes such mixed team seriously.

The past experience have shown that many countries for different reasons can not send a complete team. We should encourage these individuals to prove themselves in the mixed team.

We did our best to allow individuals that did not have complete teams to form UN-teams to compete in our many team rounds, so as to not miss out on this part of the competition experience.

However, it is not the WPF policy to recognize the results of these teams (or of "B-teams" from a single country) in the final results. In our rules we stated that the best team of three individuals from a single nation would be considered the "official" team of that nation; other "unofficial" teams could compete but would not be listed in the final rankings. I apologize if these rules were not clear, but we were simply following the precedent used at past competitions as approved by the WPF.
